2025 Wrapped?
If you've been hanging around telegram, you would've seen this already, but I just wanted to share some statistics here.

Considering that virtually all these games are organic through friends of friends, or via Goblin, this was way more than I expected. I made this before all my games were done, so if all goes according to plan, I would've ran 145 games. What I didn't write here is that I've also run at least 16 different systems (19 if you include 2 playtests of my own games, and a 3rd playtest of someone else's game!)
Averaging at almost 3 games a week, this mainly consisted of 7 different campaign groups who were playing as often as every week to as few as once every month or two. This was peppered with all the quick sign ups for new system hunters; of which I think I had the best responses for Mothership (which is easily becoming a second staple for me, after D&D), CBR+PNK, and the dating sim duo (Firebrands and Stewpot). I'd love to run Alice is Missing and Eat the Reich more, but due to the nature of the games, they are contained one time experiences. The only people I know who want to play those again are the type of people who like to watch the same movie more than once (which is great, but at least within the Dice Bowl community, a relative minority).
When talking to people about PC deaths, there's always shock, but on the two ends of the spectrum - the people who are shocked that so many have died, and the other end that expected more deaths from me. This is hilarious to me, and I'd have to be explicit that it's skewed because of the sheer number of Mothership games I've been running.
In case it wasn't obvious, the most killed monster and face palm numbers are just memes. Don't murder my NPCs please.
Overall, it's been a great 2025. Thank you again for the ride. The stories, the laughter and tears. I am loving TTRPGs more and more everyday, and I don't think 2026 will be any different. It's just the degree of love increase everyday.
What's the plan?
The first obvious thing I'm thinking of is planning out the 2026 TTRPG release list - you might have seen the latest poll containing the following games:
- Heart: The City Beneath
- Brambletrek
- Avatar Legends
- Slugblaster
- Mythic Bastionland
All great games in their own right, and I hope that you all enjoy it as much as I do. I've been listening to the community intently, and you bet I'm reading up on those mentioned games to see if it's something within my skill set. I'll talk about this more one day in another blog post.
If you direly need to experience a system or module and are struggling to find someone to run it - let me know! I'm always excited to read more and learn more about TTRPGs. Have an amazing December, or if you're in the future a beautiful week, year, and life time.
Don't forget, who's awesome? You're awesome.

EDIT: I've completed a total of 145 games (Updated on 31st December), killed 51 PCs.
